Children in Need

As many of my British readers are aware, children in need is a charity even during which money is fund raised for children in need (excuse the pun). It is a charity which looks out for the health and well being of children who are in need. This includes children with disabilities, and those from unfortunate backgrounds. A big sign of this event is...

The aim of the charity is to generally care for children in need, this can be done in many ways and forms. The charity provides grants to places where there might be disadvantaged children, to create facilities which would benefit the children  This includes creating the likes of after school clubs, youth centers and playgroups which not only keep children out of trouble but can sometimes be the core to their head-start in life.

Taking a trip down memory lane, children in need has always held a colourful and joyous memory, full of fundraising and dressing up. I just hope that this very well established charity is still around and still running as it is now, for our future generations.

When I see a child with disabilities or learning difficulties it make me rather sad, today I saw a brother and sister both with physical disabilities and possibly intellectual difficulties as well. Their parents/carers were looking after both of them, and it made me think about the future of children with disabilities once their parents have gone. It is sad, and if I as a passerby wondered that, I feel for the parents who have probably pondered over such a thought a zillion times. There's not really a smooth road trip ahead for the likes of them, and I just hope and pray that all the disadvantaged children out there, whether it's by disability or family backgrounds, have a happy and joyous life as all children deserve.

Every child matters :) x
